One was amputated in the actual injury; the other was removed in surgery at the hospital. He said that it hurt. He knew that he was injured, but he said that he was able to tolerate the pain for quite a while. I think that he said that he lost consciousness after the beam was removed from his legs and he was being put on the helicopter. He ended up having to have a wound vac because the amputations were traumatic and therefore left open because there wasn't enough skin immediately to cover the stumps. He said at that point he had phantom pain.......in other words.....his feet hurt.

I had a patient several years ago that had both legs amputated. This will clear your congestion temporarily. Another consideration to make is using a netty pot. This is a saline rinse for your sinuses. You can buy one at most health food stores. Dose up on your vitamins and probiotic. Herbs to take - goldenseal - will boost your immune system, echinacea - will increase your red blood cell count - please do however only take these while your sick. Stop use after you feel better. Homeopathics to take - bioplasma of course pulsatilla. Nature's sunshine hylands also make a homeopathic cough syrup that rocks! The final recommendation I can make is taking some form of silver - colloidal or nano processed. Silver is anti-viral anit-bacterial - it will kill any pathogen in your body. I prefer the nano processed silver because you won't run a risk of heavy metal over dosing yourself. I'll attatch a couple of links where you can reference this information. I hope you get to feeling better.

There are several things I would do starting with a rosemary steamer – take a big bowl, boiling water fresh rosemary putting these all together then place a towel over your head while you breathe the vapors in.
